    Live Messenger Problems

Has anyone had any problems with WLM? Not the beta, the final version....

Firstly, my girlfriend couldn't sign in, but could with Windows Messenger.

Then a friend came online on Windows Messenger saying his contact list on WLM was gone.

Then again, last night, another friend rang and said he couldn't sign into it also.

I've had a search on google and can't find anything, anyone know what's going on?

    Thanks.

I sometimes have a problem with wlm saying I have no internet connection even when its own diagnostics say it does, howeverwhen this happens it also happens to gaim and amsn. If quite a few people can't sign in its likely that msn's servers were overloaded, there was a month quite a while ago when that was quite common. As with the contact list going, I don't know asfaras I know thats kept on msn's servers.

Sorry I could not be of more help and I hope you get the problems sorted soon.

Nah, it's been like this for a couple of days, my girlfriend first told me about the problem 2-3 days ago, since then 2 friends have had the problem/similar. It's not a computer problem either, her's will not sign in for me now when mine is fine.

EDIT: Right, been tinkering, downloaded MSN again, and I've managed to get one online, but theres no contacts at all.

I haven't experienced the problem myself yet m8 *touch wood*.

I've been using WLM pretty much constantly all week without connection problems *touch wood again*.

    Looking like server problems...... http://msghelp.net/showthread.php?tid=63545

Seems the only way to solve this, is to revert back to 7.5 or use Windows Messenger.
