About LinkBacksHow do I get Excel workbooks (in 2003) to have their own window? Currently they all have pseudo windows and if I hit the big red x in excel it nukes the lot... I want a full on Excel window for all of them, basically.

right click on the tab at the bottom and select "move or copy" then change the "to book" option to new book and hit ok

Yep, what Steve B said ought to work.
Alternatively you should be able to open multiple instances of Excel, then just load each workbook in a different instance. That should do the trick too.
