    Firewall with profile switching

Are there any firewalls out there that have profile switching, but are decent and preferably free?

eg. an option so you can quickly switch between profiles for home use (less security) and wifi spots (higher security).

    Thanks!

I know FSecure Internet Security will allow a home/office/other profile - it's not free but it's well worth the cost (£9.99 on Today Only @ Scan today - might get 4 or 5 licenses at that price!)

EDIT - you can grab a 30 day trial from http://esd.element5.com/demoreg.html...9&languageid=1

That's not bad for Fsecure, I've heard of good stuff about them.

I don't really want a package though. I already have an AV package. A while ago I tried Trend Micro Internet Security, and that had a profile style switching option. But I'm happy with the AV I have now. Just want a software firewall that has profile switching.

I believe (not using it at present until I buy some more licenses so can't be 100% certain) that you can just install the firewall part on install - it's a cracking product. I realise then that you're paying a tenner for a firewall, but it's still a good deal for an unintrusive yet secure firewall.

Hmm, interesting. I'll see if they have a trial, if so will pos buy it from Scan if I like it.

    Will report back later.

Well I've installed it, I can't see anywhere anything about profile switching?
