    Problem with realtek audio

Hey all - would reallyappreciate some help on this one.

Fresh install of windows XP pro on a shuttle st20g5, trying to get the realtek onboard sound to work.

Tried installing the drivers from a setup.exe, direct from the driver ini/sys files to no avail. No sound from windows, winamp gives an error: "Bad DirectSoundDriver"

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    Temp

Yea, was using the shuttle drivers. Turns out the sound chip as showing as a PCI device so I (and windows) didn't recognise it.
    All sorted now
