If you click "listen" on the web page here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/memory/p..._memory3.shtml
a little window pops up and plays the radio programme.
Does anyone know of any way to record it, so there's a hard copy on my PC?
Thanks

download/install NetTransport, right click on Listen icon and select download with NetTransport.
I've used HiDownload to save the streams, but you have to view source on the RadioPlayer windows and work out the program URL from a section of JavaScript and the RealPlayers <embed> tag.
NetTransport sounds much easier.
Audacity for me. (SourceForge freebie!)
try using http://www.polderbits.com/download-s...ecorder-uk.htm you get two weeks fully functional free trial and you can record anything that you can hear on your pc!
Same here, using 'what I hear' source.Originally Posted by Vini
Does Audiocaty just record anything that is sent to your sound card? If so the down side of this is that you are decompressing and the compressing again(depending on how you save the stream.
With the download tools, it is saving the already-encoded stream so there will be no further loss in quality.
Couldn't get NetTransport to work, but Audacity works like a charm! Easy to use too.
Thank you!!!
