    Question Partitioning/ file locations

    I'm going to be formatting my hdd soon and want to partition it so i have win2k on 1 partition, linux on another, software on another, and file storage on another.

    My question is how can you get my documents to point at a different drive, as it defaults to the windows drive.

    Also, using tweak ui you can edit the shortcut bars that appear in Save As screens...but you can't specify your own, so its useless for me. Anyone know a way around this?

    On the windows desktop, right click on the My Docs folder icon, properties then enter the new location in the Target box.

    That'll only change it for the active user.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    tweakui always had an option to change the my docs folder built in directly, that was the way I used to do it.
