    Software recommendation needed

    Morning,

I'm after some software to manage calls I've taken, reminders and take notes at work. My crude notepad "F5 to log time" hyphen "note" technique is a bit pants and I keep overwritting the .txt file, amongst other stupid things.

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers!

An access DB with an entry form?
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

If you want to write it for me, sure I don't have the time at the moment.

Not got access to Outlook ?

I use the notes facility in there for exactly the same purpose as to what you have highlighted

I use it for making notes about calls and various other things where I need a quick jot

I was thinking about that, I tried using it but they werent structured enough, but I'll have a look as I've only used one such program/widget before at home. A DB-based system with a nice front end would ideal, but I don't have time to write it myself. If it was accessible over the network, then that = win.

something like a support ticet system (e.g. RT), journal (i.e. blog) or collaborative document (e.g. wiki) thing? or some kind of general colalborative workflw software?
