    IE only

Does anyone know if it is poss under W98 or XP to have a pc which only runs IE (for use in a library to show a catalogue) and prevent users from running anything else, or even shutting it down?

    Cheers

Have you already got the PC?

If not, you could try one of the Wyse Winterm systems, run Windows CE .Net and you choose what goes on them.

How about you write a simple web browser in a language of your choice (or get someone else to do it), and then make it full screen etc with out a close button, and ignore alt f4s etc.
Also just get librarians to keep an eye on it.
Hmmmm actually I'll try it now...gimme a sec.

well you can just throw in an IE pane, wun win98 & use a custom keymap with no Alt key (hence no alt-f4)
