As the title says, is it possible for my PC to turn on automatically at a time that I set?
It'd be handy if my PC turned itself on the same time I wake up.

Look in your BIOS. Some have a setting for automatic timed power-on.
On abits they call it ' On At Alarm ' (or similar, has the word alarm in there somewhere)
I used to do this for when i returned from work.
Aha, the BIOS. I shall go have a gander. I'm using an ASUS mobo.
Right, I think I found it. There were a few alarm settings in the BIOS, wake by RCP, Modem, Keyboard, Mouse, PCI Device...
I set it on wake by RCP and set it to everyday at the required time. I'll find out if it works tomorrow morning.
Could you not set it to wake in 10mins time and then turn the PC off inorder to testOriginally Posted by Parm
I thought about it but I've just opened up my new DS Lite so I'm gonna go have a play with that for now.

May be you can wire it to a push switch next to you bed to you can punch it once when you get up so that its instantly available?
Or you could just suspend to ram during the night and get windows ready immediately in the morning
