One thing which really bugs me with IE, unlike other browsers is that when you download a file, it always created a temporary file first then copies it to wherever you specified the download to be saved.
Whilst I don't mind this for small files, when you're downloading massive files, it's a real pain.
I use Firefox so don't have this issue on my PC at home, but I'd like to find out if I can do anything about it for when I have no alternative than IE.
It used to crash my old laptop because I'd be downling lots of large files at the same time, and when they finished, the OS / hard drive just didn't seem to be able to cope with all the copying simultaneously.
It's a real PITA if you ask me![]()
