    MSN & ZoneAlarm Security Suite

MSN connects fine, but I cannot see anyones avatars or any of their animated winks or anything. Am I missing a setting in ZA? Messenger is allowed full access.

Pretty simple way to find out. just disable IM security in ZA temporarily(dont worry your PC wont suddenly explode). If the image come back you mised something in ZA, if not you missed something in MSN.

Known issue, no simple 'untick this and its fixed' solution unfortunately.

    this guide works though.

it works, but having just installed the latest ZA i cba to do it again. cause once you upgrade to latest, it reverts back, meaning you have to do 'the guide' all over.

Or use a better firewall, like sygate.
ZA really was bad the last time i used it.
