How to stop IE opening zip files?

No idea how, but IE insists on opening zip files instead of asking me to open or save them. How can i change this?

It's fine if i right click and save as, but when the site forces the download through a form button press you can't do that. Complete pain in the ass this.

    thanks

Control Panel>Folder Options. Delete the association in there that ties zip files to whatever you have associated.

If it does then go to folder options and click the 'file types' tab. Scroll down to zip and click advanced button. Make sure the option 'Confirm open after download is ticked'.
