Exclamation Outlook Express / MS Word problem... please help!

    Hey,

My cousin sent me a Word document in an email and asked me to annotate some things. I did so, then saved the changes, but I didn't do a "Save as". The original email document hasn't changed however, so is it possible that a copy of the changed version has been saved somewhere else (e.g. temp folder).

Please help or I'll have to do it all over again!

    Cheers,

    Suman

thats exactly wher it will be saved to, a temp folder. Which one i'm not sure.

You could search your c: drive for Word docs and see what comes up.

Had a look in Temporary Internet Files... there isn't a whole lot there I bet it has something to do with the IE7 Beta.

Vini, I'm using Outlook Express not Outlook

thats why i suggested doing a search for *.doc.

if you search for the file name you might not find it as there may be a '[1]' in there as well.

Or how about Words recent document list?
