Which free benchmark program to use?

A few friends and I would like to benchmark one another's PC's just for the sake of it.

Can anybody recommend a good free benchmark program? Preferably something that tests the system as an all rounder rather than focussing on one particular attribute.

because its not as definative as getting a score versus another score and is a longer process i would say.

but i know custom pc have the benchmarks they use on the site they are good and give you something to compare.

Guru3D have a whole benchmarking section of downloads:
    http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?id=6

Normally people use 3DMark to get an indication of their gaming/FPS performance.
SpeedPI and Folding@Home for more CPU/memory/stability testing.

I really love SandraSoft. I've got an early version from a PC gamer DVD - I'm not sure the more recent ones are unlimited anymore, but you should still be able to find it on magazine disks still.
