Nice, just installed.
Also, it's best to completely uninstall your old installation and reinstall. I just tested it and it has some issues with tabs if you install over the top (although the issue didn't occur for another co-worker so if the issue does occur, you know what to do.)

I have to admit that since version 1 I feel that FF has lost some of its stability, at least for me. Post Version 1 versions crash far more than version 1 did. Actually I can't remember V1 crashing - EVER. However v1.5 was a nightmare for me and would crash a couple of times a day; though I haven't been using that for months now; not since the beta and RC releases of Version 2 have been around. Spell checker and session restore (which was a plugin before) are great editions to version 2 . The interface for me remains the best there is compared to IE, Opera and NS. The NS interface is a joke.
Anyone else think 2.0 is slower at rendering pages, or is it just me?
Anyhow, this spell checker is going to make the forums a nicer place to be :D
BTW, which library are people using?
I'm liking it, but had got used to having FasterFox, something which hasn't been ported over to v2 yet :(

Dorza: I can't say FF has ever been unstable for me. I've never known mine to crash once since version 1 and I've gone through every update. I'd assume it was just your setup causing the issues. OS's themselves can cause other software to have issues, and if you've generally got a bad setup (I find it rare to find a DECENT install nowadays) then that may well be the cause.

That's kinda crazy - clearly Firefox is truly mainstream now.
I downloaded the English dictionary and installed that, went to tools>options and removed the US one, restarted Firefox but right click>languages still lists the US one.
Get this, Firefox should be Firebox or Fire fox ha ha.

As far as I know it IS the final release, but it wasn't announced. It's annoying the FF team because obviously crap loads of people are grabbing it from the Mozilla FTP. If you read his post he doesn't mention anywhere that it's NOT the final release, he just goes on about how it hasn't been released yet _officially_. He's just annoyed because of fanboys managing to get their hands on it early ;) In fact, I remember the final 1.5 download being available the day before it's release and the devs saying that it hasn't been released yet.

I Like in-line spelling, but I also like to write a big long post, and then spell check it all in one go, ie without having to click on each miss-spelt word. I also miss "ignore all" and "change all".

Been using v2.0 for a couple of days and so far so good. Except for a few minor niggles v1.5 was not too bad.
Session saver was an extension I used to save tabbed session, now FF 2.0 has all this built on. My only gripe is the lack of extensions to manage tabs. Yes I do like to have a few tabs open at the same time! I'm using an add on called tabbrowser preferences. The choice will increase over time with more people developing extensions.
Spell checker is neat.
The copy and paste bug seems to have gone (HOORAY), but the 100% cpu problem is still there for me (BOOO).

Other than that there isn't anything apart from the spellchecker that is that different, more evolutionary than revolutionary, and not a bad thing too.
Yes, it is to do with flash, but it doesnt happen with explorer for some reason (6 or 7). Right now it is using 22-25% cpu close and reopen the same windows, its not doing it any more...until later.
Firefox uses a different plug-in to IE, which uses ActiveX, so there's no real Flash connection between the 2 browsers.
Got the latest Flash I assume?
