    Shortcut to start services

How can I start some services with shortcuts on the Desktop?
Its the services for VMWare server, looking at the properties for them in services.msc, gives a path to executables but running shortcuts to those don't actually start the services. There must be a simple way to do eh?

    Cheers.

You can use the command line utility "net" to start and stop services (among other things). You could then put these commands in a batch (.bat) file and run it by double-clicking. Is that what you want to do?
