Hi,
A mate has called me in a panic. He's deleted all of his course work from his usb stick. I've told him to stop using it and remove it from the PC. What software is good for recovering deleted files?
Thanks all
Darren

I've never tried it myself, but i've heard good things about:

Now, its worth noting that flash memory is different to regular HDD. Because the flash cells (that comprise the bit's) can wear out faster than HDD, as such the flash controller actually tries to ensure that cells are used up evenly. This can make data recovery more difficult.

Haven't tried it, but Bob seemed to like it![]()
I don't know about using it on a mem stick though - as Animus pointed out, it could only work on regular HD's
says it works with fat32 and ntfs file systems. I suspect the memory stick will be fat32. Make sure you install undelete on the hard drive not the memory stick and don't plug the stick in till its installed.
What did he delete it with?
Oh dont worry its a usb stick: Flash memory i highly doubt that you will be able to recover it fully or any atall..
I wish you really good luck.
Thanks guys for your input. Gonna try that free recovery tool.
