    PHPNuke resources

I had a play around with PHPnuke today ,
    - installed apache
    - installed php
    - installed My sql
    - basic phpnuke config

    - added a couple of modules ( Google API search & Membership approval )

Its going to be used as an extranet for my comapny , mainly as our knowledge base for all out clients ( we have a few so for keeping server connection details/ passwords etc on )

anyone got favourite phpnuke addins / hacks with using ?

at the moment I was going to use a locked down forum for the knowledge base, but I get a feeling there is a better way.

    Any thoughts ?

    ps. its seems pretty slow ( running on a P4 1.8 512 Meg RAM - Dell optiplex GX260 )

It is more likely the network connection that is making it slow. Is it locally hosted? Does the machine use bandwidth for anything else (eg is it shared)?

not especially , its just the 1st CMS that came to mind.

any alternatives that are as easy to set up ?

I liked the built in forums etc.
