    Norton Ghost 10

I have Norton Ghost 10 and i want to create a recovery disk that i can boot from to recover my pc back to the time of creation of the disc. I want to backup bout 11gb of data. Im not sure how to do this, do i have to create an image onto my hard drive and then burn onto DVD with nero or something? I will need it to compress the data so it fits onto the dvd.

    This is for backup purposes.

can anyone direct me to a guide or tell me how to do this?

    Thanks in advance,

    x64united.

It's a very long time since I used Ghost (version 6 or something) but if memory serves there is an option to span the backup and split it into DVD sized chunks. Personally I use Acronis TrueImage, and this certainly does.

    the manual explains it all.

It explains what it makes bootable and how and the limitations of it.
    It is Inevitable.....

from my memory i havev only used the program ghost to entirely copy one hard drives data to another. i think windows xp has its own backup program like making an image so u can burn onto a disc.
