    noisy laptop

    my girlfriend has a laptop on which we listen to music and watch films, however it can be extremely loud especially when it spins up. is there an equivalent to cool n quiet for laptops with intel processors?

    Might be worth clearing out the fans - especially if its a Pentium4 based laptop (my previous Dell C640 had a P4 1.8 in it - got rather toasty) where as my CoreDuo Laptop (new one) hardly spins up the fans
