Loading F6 boot drivers on windows

Hi there - I read the technet article that says you cannot load f6 drivers for windows boot during setup off USB sticks....can you modify usb sticks to work regardless?

Can you use a burned cd? (unfortunately I can't slipstream as i only have OSX working with a burner).

Or will I have to use a floppy drive or USB2 floppy drive?

I believe USB floppies work most of the time, though that depends on how the BIOS interprets them.

Other than that, I'm sorry to say that slipstreaming them into a new CD is the only other way I'm aware of for XP.

Thankfully this limitation has been removed for Vista.

lol, and after all that and getting a floppy drive (haven't had one in 4 years) I'll probably find the board doesn't work anyway with sata raid (680i).
