    Corrupted NTFS boot sector

    Hi i corrupted the boot sector on an ntfs partition due to stupid mucking about.

    Whats the easyiest way of repairing this, i have get data back data recovery software from run time (which is really good btw) which i can use to recover my files but it would be much easier to just fix the boot sector using the backup on the drive.

    Whats the best way to proceed, i have no floppy drive.

    For future reference.

    Boot from the XP CD. Enter the recovery console (it's one of the repair options) and run fixboot.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
