    Vpn

I'm pretty fed up with VPN after the amount of time I've spent at work trying to get something to happen. What we want to do is have WinXP laptops as roadwarriors connecting to the office to a Netgear FVS318 VPN router.

Had no joy using Windows VPN tools or SSH Sentinel (which probably has the best chance). We also have a Smoothwall box that we can use instead so advice for making a connection to that would be great.

I've pretty much exhausted every lead Google has given me so don't even think about suggesting it

I devoted the whole of today to get it going for christs sake, how bloody hard has it got to be?!?

if you have win2k server , then you can allow the pptp port through the router to your server, then run the VPN from there.

    Shad,

I've just trawled my utils stuff for anything that might help.

    http://www.network-box.com/downloads...EC_Client.html

Closest i could find for you was this, Dunno if this will help, ran it against the German VPN when we had drop outs to test to see what was up.

Dunno if its exactly what you want.

    Thanks
    TiG
