Windows task Bar

Anybody know if it's possible to get a program to run in the windows system tray(the bit by the clock) rather than the minimized task bar area?

I'd guess that it was possible - but how?

I use trayit and it really is the dogs danglies, you just run it at startup, right click the minimize on a window and specify whether or not it should minimize to system tray.
