I have a friend (Mac user) whose wanting to move to a PC/Windows and is hoping to kill the Mac off asap!

You can see similar, related, thread on this here

Anyhow, this guy is a designer, so its mainly Adoobe stuff (PS, Freehand, Illustrator) that I need to copy across - so, I copied all the jpg's, eps, ai and basically everything I was requested to back up to an external hdd.

When copying back to the PC, there were tiny, 1kb _.filename files - presumably files to link to images included in the freehand doc etc.??

However, there is also the main file, some with extensions some without (is there anyway to add ext's automatically?) but when you open the main file, it asks you to locate the images used in the said document.

It's all looking to be a very long winded process, is their an easy way??

I.e. a method to 'export' the docs ready to use straight away on a pc?
