    Question Tape backup software

Can anyone recommend any tape backup software to be used on a 2003 server with a HP DDS3 drive?

The cheaper the better and we don't want to be using windows backup.

    Thanks

Why dont you want to use Window Backup ? its not the best in the world , but it is built on a lite version of Veritas ( which is considerably more cash )

I've used products from NovaStor before - they aren't too bad.

I've used Tapeware Yosemite before - did what it said on the tin.
It was being bundled with HP drives as well - not sure if it still is....

I don't have experience with your particular tape drive but we've been using Symantec BackUp Exec at work and it's by far the best bit of software we've used for back-ups so far...

I think it's fairly expensive though.
