Is there any way to remove the horrible green volume bar that comes up whenever I change the volume? (in Windows MCE)
Thanks

The one along the bottom of the screen, with lots of dots? I believe that's installed with SetPoint for Logitech mice and keyboards. There's usually an option in SetPoint to remove it.
Well, the green bar graph thing that stretches from one side of the screen to the other...in this case i think it's cos i have a microsoft keyboard and media center installed. apparently it's got something to do with ehtray.exe, is there any way of changing the settings of that?
If you get the latest version of the microsoft keyboard/mouse software you get a small green bar that hovers just above the clock on the right - much better![]()
you can completely disable the green bar if you want, but you have the problem if having no visual indication of volume when your not running media center.
Myself, i'd completely disable it if i used the box as a media center most, if not, i'd leave it!
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
dave: it has that too! both at the same time...that's why i want to get rid of the green one.
Animus: how do you get rid of it completely then? Cos i can just use the one that you can set with the keyboard?
Thanks guys
its a running program that does it, try killing ehtray.exe and see if you miss any of the functionality, if not then remove it from startup
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
