Got 6 new fonts to install.
Drop them into the Fonts folder and for some reason the 6 fonts only appear to be 2 fonts, copied over the 6 files.
But if you double click on them when there in a seperate folder they appear as they should...
Idea's?

are they the same font in different formats.

No, there different fonts from the same family, theres a regular, a bold, an italic, a black, then variations of...
If you extract them from the zipfile into just a normal folder and then click on them font viewer opens them as they should be but when you put them in the fonts folder they bugger up, I've tried dropping them in one at a time which works when theres only 1 font of that family in the fonts folder but when you drop more than 1 in the names dont match up and with all 6 fonts in there only 2 are different
Hmmm, does it on 3 machines, 1 XP box with Adobe CS2 installed (389 fonts), one Vista machine (319 fonts) and one fresh installed XP machine with just office on it...
Some fonts just plain don't work with XP. I assume they're non-standard or something. I can't remember if it gives an error message or anything, but some do refuse to install.
They dont refuse to install at all, had to get around it by embedding the fonts in the document one by one, PITA but a work around...
