    Automated file management thingy

    Hello all,

I make no reservations about it...I download A LOT and unlike a lot of you, I detest Bit Torrent, instead relying on the wonderful world of newsgroups.

The thing is, the files downloaded from newsgroups are pretty much always multi-part rar files, on top of this...there are also par (parity) files.

This means that once everything has downloaded, I have to go through the labourious process of repairing any corrupted rar files with the par files followed by actually extracting them. If you download a ton of TV shows each, this becomes a pain in the arse!

What I need therefore, is a tool that I can run at the end of each day and perform the above tasks...preferably with little iteraction. i.e let it monitor/scan my download folder for changes and then do the above.

Does anyone know of such software?

    Much appreciated
