i can get speedfan to run from startup,
but can you get it to remember the settings every time?
i set one of the fans to 20%, but it restarts @ 100%

I have my cpu fan configured to 40% with 'automatic fan control' ticked

I have had a search around and it does not appear it is able to remember the 40% after a restart

sure it can be configured to run up to 100% should the cpu temp get too high at a temp you specify...

can anyone confirm if speedfan is able to run fans at 40% or other customised values following a restart?

Does your fan actually change speeds when you adjust it within speedfan? It could be that the fan's fixed at 100% anyway.

Yes, but my CPU fan is always at 100% because my motherboard doesn't support variable CPU fan speed.

well I am a complete dolt! it was under my nose the whole time

figured out that using the 'speed' tab under the configure menu that i can select the pwm sensor and set it up that the cpu fan will spin at 40% to 75% and my case fans to 60%
