    Question Explorer.exe - missing disk \device\harddisk2\DR4

This mesage keeps popping up, and I have to hit cancel like 20 times before it goes away.
Also, it pops up when I try to right click on certain things, recycle bin, items in my computer, etc.
Can anyone tell me why this happened and what I can do to get rid of it?
Everything else seems to be working ok, but this is very irritating.

Hows about some system specs, O/S version etc. How long you've had it & when did it start. Like after a patch or an install of hardware/software etc.

Also do you have up-to-date Antivirus & AntiSpyware? If so, up date them & run a full system scan. Can't hurt, if you've not done so already that is.

    I run Windows Xp pro.
This happened when I installed a usb hub when I moved my external hard disk.
Now I am stuck in safe mode, I can't get out of it, and usually the screen just stays blank.
I don't have the system cd, so I think I'm out of luck.
    I'm on another computer now.
