1) If MCE is recording and the user trys to drop it into standby, it will give a warning asking what it should do.
Log Off | Cancel | Stand By
I need to remove the log off option. Its bad enough it just being there, but its the first option, so I know its only time until my dad hits it.
There is only 1 user on the system. The welcome screen is disabled, and fast user switching. Allowing the user to log off via gpedit is also disabled - which works fine in windows (The logoff options in task manager and the start menu are disabled / gone).
However, the option still shows. If it does get pressed, it does log the user out, but the entire system seems to lock up after a while (conflict with gp's ?). Regardless, the system wont have a mouse, so its just hassle that I dont need.
2) When the system wakes up from S3 standby for a recording, the monitor will stay in standby mode.
Pressing the standby button on the remote will happily put the system back into S3 sleep mode, but I would rather it wake the monitor up, then if pressed again, drop the system into S3 sleep.
The monitor will come back on if the mouse is moved, but again, being a media centre, it wont have a mouse.
Any suggestions ?
Cheers

Next time i'm in the MCE sdk i'll have a look i'm fairly sure there is an on standby event. Rather than change code you'll have to maintaine with hurt, you can just make a module, and before you know it you'll be doing modular developement (often considered good!)
