    Change Mobo without reinstalling Vista

I've got an opteron system and I am considering going to a C2D system, which means I need to replace the CPU, Mobo and RAM.
Anybody knows if I will have to reinstall Vista or is it smart enough to change the drivers only, which is what XP did.

Before you say, I know it would be much better with a clean install but I am just considering my options.

    Ta.
