advantages of running seti?

it's one good way of testing your machines. but personally i think UD is more "worthwhile" as it looks at science for humans, in helping them find cures for stuff.

I personaly think Seti is a waste of time, Its doubtfullyou will find ET and if you do whats to say it will be publicly anounced?
I do distributed folding myself, I say you should join one of the other Hexus projects such as UD or folding.
