The Italians, the Spanish and the Germans are looking at the Premiership at the moment, and shaking in their boots?

2 seasons ago 3 of the 4 semi finalists in the CL were English.

Last season same again, 3 of the 4, and an all English final, and (obviously) a English winner.

This season Man U and Chelsea are stronger than ever, Liverpool and Arsenal still have a chance, Real can't buy Ronaldo from Man U, but Man City can buy Robinho from Real.

The English clubs have been terrorising europe for the last few seasons, and I reckon we are tightening our grip.

Our national side should be looking at the Premier League and shaking in its boots too!

With all these club takeovers, we're buying more and more foreign players. Not that I disagree with it, makes our league mighty tasty - but it can't bode well for our already-****e national team.

Think it was the City chairman who said yesterday that its youth players are pretty much buggered now. They're not gonna give young Jimmy Smith a chance in the team when they can get Kaka instead.

Man, things were out of hand before.. now.. ridiculous doesn't cover half of it. Honestly, I could probably hire Eric Schmidt away from Google for less money than people splash on football players.

Can't see why anyone should be particularly proud of things. There's little 'English' about the English domination of Europe (to this point, and in the future to come). Even Alex Ferguson is Scottish

Personally i love the fact that theres more money in the premiership, the standard has never been higher and yes we do have the best league in the world by quite a margin now i'd say.
