Best place to sell a bike?

Hi All,
I've got one of these I bought last year:

I've done about 800 miles on it, and am now looking at an upgrade. Where's the best place to sell decent bikes? Ebay? Are there more specialised sites/forums for cycles?

Gumtree has a pretty decent bike section IIRC

I haven't bought a bike mag in years, but most used to have a classified section at the back. Not sure if that's still the case though.

Biking forum, or this forum. Bit suspicious of gumtree because you could have some scally coming round 'to look at your bike' but they are really just clocking your address to nick it later. At least with ebay it's basically sold before you start inviting folk off the internet around to your house

the best way im my opinion is too friends/family friends, word of mouth at the pub, or put it in the local papers. our local standard has a small but quite good classifieds section.

ebay may work too, but its localish people usually that would want to buy.

Cheers Lowe, that looks like a good site. I might even buy my upgrade 2nd hand on there.

I'm not sure about the Gumtree website. I've seen a bike I'm possibly interested in - retails at ~ £1100 - this years model available for £400. Pretty sure that must have been nicked....
