Well in this quarantine i lost upto 7 kgs and for this i only did heavy bag workout for 7 rounds 3 minute each 4 to 5 days a week, it took me only less than half hour, so it's no big deal to take some time off from your hard working routine and yes i did some pushups before the workout in order to warmup.

All of my fellow fitness instructors say that it is all about dieting and not about exercising. So if you get you nutrition in order then you will see belly fat decrease without any effort.
