    TooNice's 100 push-ups for the lol challenge log

    I am sure this was posted before, and odds are, I said I would go for it without specifying when. Well this month's Men's Health brought it up again, and I now pledge that starting from today, I'll train according to the program till I reach that goal. Let's see what my word is worth

    Here's the site for those who aren't sure what I am on about. Feel free to join this little challenge.

    Session 1: 11/12/9/9/9 *Note: I was originally going to go with the more aggressive version in Men's Health, but wasn't able to go beyond 9 for the last set (target was 13). So in the future, I will make do following the 3rd column in the website. 5 sets is hard for me as I am used to train in sets of 3.

    My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

    scaryjim: 10" is just a little large to hold comfortably in one hand, which makes it a lot harder to tap, swipe and generally interact with.

    Good luck, just keep at it.

    I remember this challenge, I got about up to week 4/5 but then got busy/tired to keep at it. Was able to manage 50 consecutive push-ups done though around when I stopped :-$. I think now I can squeeze out 30 :-|

    Might pick it up again!

    I managed 10 just now before caving in, so I'll go with the second column.

    Session 2: 10/12/8/8/17: Oh yeah! Nothing like a bit of placebo. Umm though come to think of it, it's only 5 more than round one and I took 15 extra seconds rests per set. So only a marginal improvement, but my arms and chest feel much tougher and I feel good

    I can't do press-ups. My stupidly broken wrist won't support my weight on that angle

    What about using pushup bars? I noticed less wrist ache when using them.

    I also started (but never finished) this a while back after seeing it posted on here, I was doing the squats one at the same time.

    Maybe I'll start it again when things settle down for me and I get a little more time on my hands.

    Thats where I want to end up.

    At the mo I'm only doing 30 push up's a night, 10 left lead, 10 right lead 10 normal, next week that'll go upto 15 of each, next month I'll see if I can get upto 20 of each, by the end of the year I at least wanna have the balance to planche..
