    Eat all your food in 5 or 6 meals a day instead of three
    Cut back on your White carbs (rice, potatoes, pasta) and substitute with vegetables, which are higher in water and nutrients anyway
    Exercise first thing in the morning by walking or light jogging or even biking for 30 to 45 minutes
    Drink water from morning until night to stave off those urges to eat more food and to keep your metabolism up
    Eat all your food in those 5 or 6 meals before 7:30 at night so that you are not going to sleep on a full stomach
    Finally if you want to know the real secret of how to lose 10 pounds you need to worry about why you are trying to lose weight. On those days where it is really tough to diet or exercise or make good decisions then you need to be very clear what the heck this weight loss sacrifice is for. Is it going to make you more healthy, losing 10 pounds will make you a lot healthier. Or do you want to fit into smaller clothes? Or is it a goal to prove that you are in control of yourself? All of these reasons and more are important. Write you reasons down and post them up everywhere. Make sure that you never forget the WHY of how to lose 10 pounds.

    Just patiently do your exercise. And avoid eating foods that are unhealthy. Drink lots of water to keep you full and eat more vegetables. This will help your metabolism.

    Easy Lose Weight Tips To Help You Lose Weight Permanently:-

    1. Use the BMI calculator and find out if you need to be concerned about your weight. Body Mass Index ( BMI ) is a ratio of a person’s weight to his/her height. Currently, the index is one the simplest yet accurate indicators for body fat of most people. It allows you to determine if your weight is within or outside of the healthy range.

    2. Set your weight loss goal. Set it in small increments. Suppose you need to lose 100 pounds. That may seem like such a huge and unreachable goal that you may be too frightened to even start. However, if you break your desired weight loss into reasonable increments, such as losing 10 pounds in 4-6 weeks, it suddenly appears doable.

    3. Set a time line. A reasonable goal for losing 10 pounds is 4-6 weeks. You may lose the first 10 pounds much faster, maybe in a week. Subsequent pounds though, will come off a little slower, between 1-2.5 pounds per week . After each 10 pounds re-asses your time line.

    4. Do a little math. Based on your personal information, sex, age, weight and height and your physical activity calculate how many calories you will need to lose on daily basis to reach your goal. Use the weight loss calculator to find out how many calories you need to consume to lose weight. Remember, if you increase your physical activity you can eat more!

    5. Create a fan club for yourself. Nothing is more encouraging than a good support from your friends and family. If this is not possible join an online forum where you will meet people who are in the same situation as you are. This is one of those weird lose weight tips, but it is important!

    6. Purchase a scale if you do not have one already. The best ones are the digital ones. You will want to weigh yourself once per week or two at the initial stages of your weight loss. At this stage do not weigh yourself more often then that. Later, at the maintenance level you may want to weigh yourself as often as once per day.

    8. Have water as soon as you wake up. That first glass of water will start your metabolism going.

    9. Have water every time you eat. Drink it before a meal and during the meal. It will dilute your blood after eating and that will prevent you from feeling sluggish after you eat. As, well it will make you feel full.

    10. Drink water if you feel you are hungry. Whenever you think you are hungry, first have a glass of water. Wait 10 -15 minutes to see if your feeling of hunger subsides. Often we mistaken thirst for hunger.

    I found calorie counting very useful when I first embarked on losing weight a few years ago. I used thedailyplate which is now part of livestrong.com

    You often don't realise how the calories quickly add up just from the little things that you probably don't even consider when thinking about what you're consuming such as fizzy drinks, milk/sugar in tea/coffee etc.

    There are lots of small changes you can make depending on how committed you are that can contribute to losing and maintaining weight loss and just improving overall health.

    Some of the changes I have made in the last few years have included going from full fat milk to semi skimmed to skimmed to soya to black. Consuming less cheese. Switching all white carbs such as bread, pasta, rice for brown etc. Dumping fizzy drinks for either water or squashes which are low calorie. Swap chocolate snacks for fruit/nuts. etc

    Unfortunetly a common thread as well, perhaps it should be removed as this one, and another I did called Which tablet or similar both seem to pick up spammers or people after free scan shipping..

    10 kg over weight ain't nothing ... really if your fit and working out you should be fine... if however your very self conscious then do the watch what you eat thing... and follow the rest of these people...

    Back on topic, just managed to lose almost 6kg in 4 weeks doing P90X. I know it is gimmicky but at the end of the day it actually works! Gone down 3 inches on my waist and lost most of my belly and moobs XD.

    Promised myself that I would actually get fit this time before Summer so I could go to the beach without being overly self conscious. In 2 months, if I stick to my target I WILL have abs

    Now this thread's been necroed, I feel I can contribute myself

    Due to health reasons, I recently went on the "stone age" diet. This is designed to help with food intolerances/allergies. Basically it's fresh meat, fish, fruit and veg, and bottled spring water (although Im fine with filtered tap water these days). NO bread, potatoes, milk, cheese, or refined sugars in the main thing to come out of this.

    In less than a week my IBS has gone, and nearly two weeks in I have lost about 4 kg !
