Sort of, started off doing KFM 4/5 years ago but do a bit of everything that comes under self defence these days, got a seminar tomorrow at Total Dojo in MK, busy day ending with Filipino stick...
I'm so going to be dead on Sunday
Jujitsu here as well. I studied TKD for 4-5 years, then did a mixed martial art that was pretty much TKD with a bit of Jujitsu; that gave me the taste for it and so after moving house I made sure I found a decent Jujitsu club.
Bando, Burmese martial art - very effective and practical but still has the philosophy of a martial art. Only one teacher that I know of though in the Uk so unless you live near London you will find it difficult to train in it. It's more popular in France though. He's doing a seminar in Glasgow too 2-3rd July. Link below if interested

Goju Ryu 10+yrs. Very good in close quarters - like wing chun sticky hands etc
One can never stop saying Thank You
theres a wing-chun club at my uni mite have to nip down and have a go.
Quite tempted at this or karate atm tbh
I would strongly suggest pencak silat, its great for the mind and body. It would be hard to find somewhere to learn it though
Try Brazilian ju jitsu. More 'real world' than traditional japanese jujitsu.Would also recommend Muay Thai as a good standup style to balance out the largely groundfighting techniques of jiujitsu.
I practice Kendo, it's been a year since I started.
Have a chance to take my Ikkyu next month or wait till March and pass it for sure. Still not decided what I should do, all depends if I can learn Kata 3 good enough and improve one or two things.
I used to practice Wing Chun and also Krav Maga.
Martial art is good to reduce belly fat.
Doing martial arts for weight loss
It's no coincidence that gyms, personal trainers and producers of exercise videos and DVD's are now heavily incorporating training techniques and exercises from a wide variety of martial arts in their workouts.
Boxercise, Tae Bo, Cardio-Kickboxing, Kung Fu Aerobics, and personal trainers using punching bags, focus mitts and kicking pads in their sessions are just a couple of examples of how martial arts training is being used in cardio workouts for fitness and weight loss.
Because martial art training is typically high intensity and usually lasts for at least an hour in most cases, it burns a maximum number of kilojoules or calories per workout and is therefore great for anyone who wants to lose weight and lose it fast.
You say it lasts an hour at least, we used to train for 2 hours, since the club closed tho I'm struggling to find somewhere that'll train for the same amount of time, most seem to be an hour or less.
Nah, we just had a "if I break you, or anyone else breaks you tough ****" forms to sign
