Why does every workout system cost $100?

It seems like every time I see a link to a good workout guide/system it ends up that I have to pay $100 for some PDF files or to watch some youtube videos etc. and I feel sure it's not worth that.

This Venuto chap is selling the holy grail (in PDF): http://www.holygrailbodytransformation.com/index1.shtml

This one has a shortcut to a sixpack all over youtube: http://sixpackshortcuts.com

Now this Ferruggia promises all that and more: http://www.musclegainingsecrets.com/index3.php

I suspect these 'secrets' are actually widely known and can be found for free if you can trawl through all these adverts for over-priced PDF files.

I know the secret - eat better (actually works out quite inexpensive if you prepare the right things) and exercise more. Simples

Re: Why does every workout system cost $100?

    Move more, eat less.

That sixpack shortcuts got turned off about 20 seconds in, says about burning belly fat, erm no, your body will burn fat, you cant target certain areas, doesnt work that way.

Last year at xmas I had a 39 n a bit inch waist.
I stopped eating as much white bread and what bread I did eat was brown/batch.
    I lost nearly 2 inches.
At xmas this year I weighed 15 stone, I haven't started excercising more, all I have done is downloaded an app called my fitness pal, told it what I weighed, how tall I was etc and started logging everything I eat for a month, then saw where I was eating crap or more than I needed too, you know, theres a bit left on your plate, so you finish it, or you clear the other halfs plate, or the kids plates or whatever, stopped doing that, I now eat a lot less but dont feel hungry for it, I just stop eating when I am not hungry instead of eating until I am full. By doing this alone I have lost 2 stone since the begining of the year..
I plan to loose a bit moreand then I'll start doing P90, granted I wont be doing the diet side of it I'll just be eating as normal but adding in some activity..

Don't give other people your hard earned for pixels, when you can better spend it on food.

There's a wealth of info on the net available for free, and there are even online personal trainers that charge less than the afformentioned ebooks cost. All you need to be is certain of what your goals are and commit to achieving them.

I don't mind paying £5 for a book on fitness etc, but these seem ridiculous.

Eating better can be a LOT cheaper, since cutting out most junk food (bar the occasional treat) I only need to do a fair food shop every fortnight if that

If you continue to watch his video he did say their is no such thing as spot reduction, but you know most common question people always ask is "how to burn belly fat" which in fact you focus burning fat everywhere which is fact of course, but i'm sure if people focus on burning fat on their belly they will notice they loss fat overall everywhere too.
And out of almost every of those website like sixpackshortcuts.com or sixpackquest.com etc etc, many of them don't recommend doing lots of cardio because you be stripping off muscle and lowers your metabolism, and you need your metabolism to be high to burn calories on regular basis.

All i could say is check out their free workout exercises on their youtube channel, but i can promise you all of them will say do exercises like "squats, deadlifting, bench press" etc etc. Which are most effective may to build muscle in order to burn calories faster.
Just east clean and train hard and you will slowly see the fat stripping off.

Treadmill's/Bikes are brilliant to use while watching the TV, you tend to find your watcing the TV and not thinking about how far/fast your going..

I've found Chad Waterbury to be great with workout plans. Search on Google and the T-Nation forums, loads of information for free if you're prepared to do your research.
