GT Avalanche 3.0 Disc 2011

Hi guys my girlfriend is just about to buy this bike for £360. Is it a good bike in your opinion for the price?

I have the GT Avalanche 1.0 and love it but dont know much about the latest models.

I had the 2010 Hydro Model and loved it! From what I can see there aren't many differences between that and the 2011, slightly nicer looking if anything.

I couldn't fault mine, definitely recommend it

I recently got myself a mountain bike and i was hunting around for ages, eventually landed on this however this is also a good deal. If she wants a women's frame there will be a lot of previous year models that you could get pretty cheap.

Ash cycles them self where pretty good although they don't give the bike a particularly good service before it arrives.

Pauls cycles do a lot of offers on old frames too.

Thanks for the help guys, Prob is Biscuit, she needs a 14-15 inch frame and them ones you sent only do a minimum of 18 inch. i will check out the sites though and look around, many thanks!
