shocking decisions for red card. I think the player went down TOO easy for the second yellow. I would book the POlish player as well for simulation.
Any reaction to Todays games? especially Italy vs Barcelona, sorry Spain
I reckon Spain will win if they get the first goal

Spain - Italy was a decent game. Spain had some great chances to wrap it up near the end but squandered them.
Feel sorry for Torres, his confidence is shot and looks like a shadow of his previous years, such a waste

Was a relatively feisty affair - latin temperaments Spain looked better overall though. Good to see a ref relatively keen to see the game played, expect they will be few and far between sadly.
Also feel sorry for Torres. Think he will have a good tournament if he can just get a kickstart from somewhere. Disappointed with the Ireland display but rest of games have been very good. Euro 2012 has got of to a good start.
Italy have been overlooked for this tournament but I thought they played well and were exposing Spain's ageing centre- backs throughout the whole game.....they may well have a chance if they keep playing like that for the whole tournament.
Hehe well he's got a big enough forehead, might as well use it
Very true!

Ref seemed to be a muppet in England VS France aswell
Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?
Good performance to build on for the rest of the group games

Referees need to learn from their mistakes because they are starting to make more and without the help of technology it is ruining the game.
That said the France v England game was entertaining in the first half, some good play resulting in some good chances with both goals being deserved. The second half was energetic but there didn't seem to be any desire to go and win the game.
I hope the International Football Association Board(IFAB) vote on the 2nd July regarding goal line technology approves some system to be used.
I'm not so sure - unlike the other guy, this one wasn't trigger happy. The yellows were for off the feet challenges or coming in late at speed so there was a potential dangerous element. I thought the ref gave the players room to play how they wanted.
What disappointed me was how the players didn't respect that, and it became a bad spirited game as a result. Les blues were slightly worse at that, but both sides had their moments.
so we do have footy fans here!
Oh dear Holland. Good effort Van Persie, where was the rest of your team though?
