There seem to be a range of Carrera mountain bikes, all seem almost identical and they all seem around the same price!
Vengeance - £325
Vulcan - £375
Hellcat - £350
Valour - £310
Does anyone know the difference?
Thanks
Josh

Just checking the Halfords site, seems to be different gearing, brakes etc.
You can compare specs.... here's 4 I selected randomly:

I bought a Carrera bike for my kid recently. They're pretty decently built.
The Hellcat is a 29"er the rest seem to be differences in componentry in the main although there maybe a frame difference between the Valour & Vengance. To be honest the Valour looks to be more a commutor/green lane bike rather than an MTB you could safely use off road. If you're actually looking at any of these bikes then get the Vulcan. or if money is super tight, Vengance and upgrade as time goes on.
Main differences seem to be:
Vengeance - £325 - 100mm travel forks - 8 speed rear - Mechanical Disc Brake
Vulcan - £375 - 120mm travel fork - 9 speed rear gears on wider hub - Hydraulic brakes with 180mm rotor
Hellcat - £350 - 29" wheels - 100mm travel forks - 8 speed rear - Hydraulic brakes with 160mm rotor
Valour - £310 - 100mm travel forks - 7 speed rear - V-brake rim brakes - narrower handlebars
The Vulcan was featured on a list of best bikes (entry level) by mbr (bike magazine) https://www.mbr.co.uk/reviews/hardta...-mountain-bike
