    SSD Advice

    Hi All

Im a bit bored at the moment so have decided to buy some Mini ITX stuff for a new project to keep me busy. I am buying a couple of bits every month and this time its down to the Hard Drive.

The case i have bought (Silverstone SG06B) supports a 2.5" HDD so im thinking SDD for speed, heat issues and all round sexyness! I will have an external HDD for storage attached so it will need to hold OS and a few installs, 32gb i think will be plenty for me.

I am really struggling on what one to get, i know SLC Chips are preferred but they cost a fortune, some MLC Chips come with 230mbsec read and ~120mbsec writes but ive no idea really what to look for other than read/write speeds.

Any advice or recommendations of what drive to get? Something around the £100 mark if possible but that can change if nothing is available! Ive only really looked at OCZ ones but am open to ideas

Also if while you are replying you know of any good Low Profile (up to 78mm) S1156 coolers that are dandy, hit me up! lol

    Re: SSD Advice

The Intel 40GB seems to the be the best one for Circa £100.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
