Anyway i saw one on at pc world for £99.97 a few weeks back
If you can't get it at the price advertised then why would you want to see it? - it wouldn't be reflecting a real price.
I guess because he may decide it's worth waiting until something appears on Today Only or similar rather than buying at standard retail price today. It's fairly easy to predict when you'll need a new HD, so it makes sense.
Yea if something has hit a certain price it is more than likely that it will hit it again/ i guess you could also use it as a bargaining tool "i've seen ... at £... what can you offer me?"
Also for the more general questions "how much would a 2tb HD cost me?" and "What is the sort of base price I should be looking at?" and "Is that a good price?"
Sorry I cannot answer your question, I've not looked at the prices of 2tb HD's
