either way, like all good generals... I retreated when I got near losing the battle.. in this case... I lost the will to fight through that lot of tech.....

Got 4k writes up to 46mb/s, reads are still the same, any ideas?
Not that I can really tell the difference when using the system, but no harm in trying to get more speed.
At the end of the day, the main benefit of RAID 0 is fast sequential read/writes.
And the main benefit of SSDs is reduced access time. The benefit of fast sequential read/writes is virtually irrelevant because they aren't used for large file storage (unless you're a nutter), they're used for lots of small files that need to be loaded quickly - like an operating system.
So it's not really going to change things - they'll bench amazingly well, but they won't actually make a difference you can see.
