I bought the 80GB intel on impulse buy, NEVER use it, might sell it.

I've got the 80Gb Intel Gen 2 powering my system drive and love the difference. Now I want another just to install my games on! I will wait though - prices are too dear still. Perhaps intels die shrink SSDs expected later this year will change that position. More likely is they will keep the price high and increase capacity (to start with).
yes.. yes you did,.. and Serious Sam (Auran) was listening and watching at the LAN.. hence him choosing one.
Game loads... yes. Very fast. World of Warcraft is loaded in about 3 seconds, compared to a regular HDD at about 9 seconds.
I dpn't have the money right now.. but my word.. I sooooo want one.

My Corsair X128 failed so took the opportunity to upgrade to the 160GB Intel. I was amazed by the Corsair so switching to the Intel doesn't make that much difference, but I certainly notice the extra space.
Any PC I build that I will use on a daily basis will have an SSD in it now, even if it is just a smallish one for Windows boot and putting games on an HDD.
"I've heard there is a common problem with this item from forums" - If you read some forums they believe Elvis was abducted by aliens, doesn't mean it's true.
I'm still chuffed to bits I got my Intel X18-M 80Gb, for £140 all in ages ago
...and when it's life is up in the desktop, I hope to transfer it to an ultra compact lappy. All the speed, at a fraction of the size of your X25-M's![]()
No TRIM though is there with those ?
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
While speccing something for DG in another thread I noticed that the second-gen Kingston V-series are getting pretty reasonable reviews, and are < £2/GB! Ebuyer have both the 64GB (@ £113.71) and 128GB (@ £199.21) versions available. More details in this thread!
