I've had my OCZ Vertex 2E 60GB for a month or two now, and while very good indeed, it is a tad small in terms of capacity, so I have decided to purchase a second SSD. I have ruled out the Crucial C300 due to my lack of SATAIII (no room for an expansion card), and the Intel 80GB as too expensive (£140 or so max), leaving another 60GB Sandforce or the older Indilinx Barefoot based OCZ Vertex in 96GB form.
The 96GB Vertex looks very attractive in terms of price to capacity and at the time got very positive reviews, but my question is whether it is still a player?
My second question is how Sandforce compression friendly are Windows system files and general program files used by Office, Adobe and games? Would it be worth swapping the Windows instillation to the Indilinx drive or keep them on the Sandforce?
Thanks in advance!
