Got a 1TB 7200.12 SATA Seagate drive a couple of months ago as part of a new build (mobo etc too) but hear the odd 'clunk' and spin up noise sometimes. Checked HDTune and the following was observed. I believe the drive is suspect but given many components were bought am a little worried the motherboard could be a problem (couple of times had to power off psu completely after OB LAN wouldn't work).

The stats don't look too good but would Scan accept returns on this or is it direct to Seagate?
